Just below there is a notice of marriage:
on 29.08 1901 she married Porreca Camillo"
This 29 Aug o1 date was the date of the "civil promise." The churchmarriage was 12 December 1901. Per email from Piera Badia 15 June2001: "the religious marriage followed the civil promise - from 1870to 1929 the state and the church each had theiir separate proceedingsbecause the Italian State had "occupied" the State of the Church -then in 1929 an "armistice" was made and the religious marriageacquired validity also for
the state."
Camillo Porreca and his spouse Camilla Teti emigrated to the UnitedStates, arriving at Ellis Island 11 Feb 1903 aboard the ship TRAVEwhich departed from Naples, Campania, Italy. Also appearing next tothem on the ship's manifest are the names Nicola Ficca (16 years old)and Vincenzo Ficca (35 years old) - likely these are relatives ofCamillo's mother Rosa Ficca.

Per Email from Guido Teti (Roma) 10/10/01, a cousin to Albert Porrecaon both the Porreca and Teti sides, our Teti family nickname is"Mastariell". Email text and Albert's translation of it follows:
Caro Albert

ciao Guido

Dear Albert
Excuse the delay in answering your message, I was very happy to hear
your news.

I am not relative of AnnaLuigia and Domenica, but I have made this
search for my uncle Teti Nicholas, son of Antonio; Antonio is thebrother
of Annaluigia and Domenica.

The nickname of Teti Antonio and sons is MASTARIELL. Teti Antonio
stayed only a few years in America with my grandfather Teti Felice
and then he returned in Italy.

Teti Antonio married Porreca Vincenza and had 5 sons, two of which
Nicholas and Palmina are still alive. Antonio died approximately 10years ago
and Vincenza approximately 7 years ago.

Vincenza is not part of your family SCIPP.

What a pity we did not meet in August 2001. I and my family we were to
Torricella from the 11 August 01 to 2 Sept 01 and there were also
many relatives.

When do you think you will return to Italy? I will bring you to theold
house of your ancestors in Via Solagne di Pennadomo 10,
that is the correct address.

As I said to you at the beginning of the letter, I am not relative ofAnnaLuigia
and Domenica but we have common relatives, because mygreat-grandmother
was named Maria Porreca, born in 1870 and she was part of the familySCIPP.
