related. I did a Google search of my name and got a hit for your site
with my (our) last name.
My grandfather is Guido (Nick) DiMascio and my father was Michael
DiMascio, his son. My sister, Marianne, and I were just visiting them
in Cape May, NJ this past week and spent a lot of time talking about
our family tree. What a surprise to see your site! It brought tears
to my eyes!!!
We moved to the Boston area in 1977 when my mom remarried and I am
always on the hunt for information about our family's geneaology.
Are you still updating the family tree? If so, here is some info
about my branch:
Guido had two sons Michael and William. Michael was my dad and passed
away last year at the age of 57, he was born in 1945. I have two
siblings, Marianne who is 35-born 1968 (I'm 36-born in 1967). Our
mother's name is Mary Anne McGovern, also born in 1945. My father was
remarried to a woman named Cathi and had a son also named Michael
Joseph and he was born in 1974, making him 29. I don't remember what
year Cathi was born or her maiden name.
My dad's brother, William is 57-born in 1946 and is married to Anna
Marie, they have no children. I can't remember her maiden name at the
moment. They have two step-siblings, Marianne Facciola (nee Barrett)
51 years old and Donald Barrett aged 54. Their mom is Peggy (Margaret
Barret).
I could go on and will if you are interested. I am wondering if the
Antonio that owned the store is our great-grandfather? He came to the
U.S. in 1905 I believe. He married Christina Porreca around 1915 (I
think) and they had 5 sons. Mario, Guido, Joseph, Rocco and Angelo.
They are my great-uncles and grand father (Guido). You may know that
my uncle Rocky passed away about 11 years ago.
I'd love to hear back from you and plan to revisit your site. I
book-marked it so I won't have to search.
Do you plan to hold a reunion sometime? I would love to come. I miss
my extended family very much and it would be a great way to connect
with other members of the family

able to find my grandmother's house. I would have loved to make plans
for the July 16th reunion; however, my husband's niece is getting
married that day. I or Michelle will be more than happy to pass along

Looking forward to seeing you at my parents' house sometime this
summer. They are currently in Florida (they have a condo in Pompano
Beach). They go there shortly after the Christmas holidays and stay
until the end of April/beginning of May. This year, Don and Pat are
flying down the last week in April and will drive their car home and
