Hi Cousin,
I have some info, and I am working on getting some pictures. I
spoke with my sisters this past weekend. They remember Hazelton. They
siad my mom Lillian live next door to Camillo family and they had
porches in front of the houses. This was the family Everson who
adopted my mom from the father who had to give her up cause he was
poor. So my dad lived in Philadelphia and would come to Hazelton to
see his brother and that is how my dad met my mom. My sister said when
they went to Hazelton. They remember going inside Camillo 's house and
seeing a picture they thought was dad, but it was Camillo. They said
they looked like twins. I spoke with my grand neice Tina's daughter
and she said that she even went to try and see the houses, address is
in the 700's and on N. Vine street. She also confirmed her mom's name
was Serpentina. She also had a strane middle name but it was not
Florentina.
Also my mom Lillian Birthdate was April 15, 1903.
This has been so interesting finding out all this info.

I'm so sorry that I didn't realize who you are. Yes, of course I
remember you now. Please accept my apologies.
There is another Albert Porreca who sometimes writes to me, mostly
sending me political crap. He is a bit strange. He doesn't tell me who
he is but I know that his father is Joe a dentist in Drexel Hill, and
his grandfather is Albert Porreca who used to be a dentist on Broad St
in South Philly. I thought maybe it was him writing to me. My
grandfather, Camillo (your father's oldest brother), once told me that
those people were not related to us although they came from Torricella
also.
Yes, I will add these to our family tree on the website. I assume
these are all your brothers and sisters? If so, then I know their last
names are all 'Porreca'. And I know their parents are Luigi Porreca
and Lillian (?). I don't know Lillian's maiden name nor birthdate, but
that should also be in the family tree. Do we have the correct
birthdate for your father: 27 November 1889. That would mean he
was near 60 when you were born Albert. Is that correct? Good for him!
Please get back to me on all his, so I can add it update the website.
One more thing, Al, in the family tree right now, I show only three
children for Luigi and Lillian. That's probably because that was all
my mother remembered at the time (long a go). The children I have are
Louis, Sperentina, and Florentina, but I don't see Florentina in your
list. What can you tell me about Florentina?
