Laura de Laurentiis,
nata a Padova, è figlia di Pietrantonio de Laurentiis e
nipote di Quirino de Laurentiis e Marianna Carapella, tutti
di Torricella Peligna. Abita a Bergamo. Ha due
figli, Valentina e Andrea, rispettivamente di 27 e 20 anni.
Laura de Laurentiis scrive di psicologia,
salute, rapporti di coppia per varie testate a diffusione
nazionale.
Ha
curato la stesura di circa 40 manuali, che sono stati
venduti in allegato alla rivista “Viver sani e belli” e ora
si possono trovare in vendita in qualche edicola oppure in
Internet.
Ha anche curato la
stesura della mini enciclopedia
“Il pediatra risponde dalla A alla Z”
(Editore Fabbri), e di vari libri fra il quale: “Sposi oggi
domani sempre” (Editore EDPS),
“E adesso. . . nanna. Come insegnargli a dormire”
(Sfera Editore),
“E adesso. . . gioco. Come il gioco aiuta a crescere”
(Sfera Editore). Recentemente ha scritto il suo primo
romanzo, "Baffi & tarocchi S.r.l." (Badaracco
Editore).
E’ fondatrice con un’amica giornalista della
sconosciuta d itta
NILA, che crea opere di decoupage pittorico e che è in grave
perdita fin dagli albori in quanto la produzione viene
regalata anziché essere venduta. Il nome è l'acronimo di
NIcoletta + LAura. Nicoletta è Nicoletta Lucia Bagliano,
caporedattore di un giornale e sua carissima amica. NILA è
nata come un hobby, ma gli oggetti prodotti sono piaciuti a
chi li ha visti o ricevuti in regalo, quindi Laura e
Nicoletta hanno pensato di fare di più. Di tanto in tanto
si infilano nei mercatini degli artisti con una bancarella.
Laura ha portato la sua bancarella anche a Torricella, lungo
il viale alberato che dalla pineta porta al centro del
paese. Insieme con lei c’era la persona che le ha insegnato
il decoupage pittorico, Lisa Di Fabrizio, la prima figlia di
"Mario delle Poste". Laura dice: “Tutto è merito della mia
maestra Lisa. E’ bravissima! Una vera artista, sensibile e
completa. Le sarò grata per sempre per quello che mi ha
insegnato.” Laura a sua volta ha tramandato l’arte di
decoupage alla sua amica di Milano, Nicoletta. Dipingono
solo oggetti da usare (barattoli, annaffiatoi, appendini,
vassoi, candelieri) oppure piccoli mobili. Così se c'è un
mobiletto rovinato, lo riportano a nuova vita, rapidamente.
Il tutto a prezzi molto modici. Da qui il soprannome che ha
dato loro un’amica: LE FATE VELOCI. |

Laura de Laurentiis,

in Bergamo. She has a 27-year-old daughter, Valentina, and
a 20-year-old son, Andrea.
Laura
de Laurentiis writes about psychology, health and couples
for various national publications.
She wrote and edited around 40 manuals, which were sold as

S.r.l. (Moustaches & Tarot Cards, Inc. –

With
a journalist friend she also founded NILA, a little known
company that creates works of pictorial decoupage. This
company has been at a serious loss
from the beginning since things are given away rather than
sold. The acronym stands for NIcoletta + LAura. Nicoletta
is Nicoletta Lucia Bagliano, chief editor of a newspaper and
Laura’s dear friend. It all began as a hobby, but people
who saw their objects or received them as presents liked
them so much that they decided to get more serious. On
occasion they set up a stand at open art fairs. Laura even
put up a stand in Torricella, along the tree-lined roadway
that goes from the Pinewood to the center of town. Together
with her was the person from whom she learned pictorial
decoupage, Lisa Di Fabrizio, the oldest daughter of “Mario
of the Post Office”. Laura says: “My teacher Lisa deserves
credit for everything. She is incredible! She is a true
artist, sensitive and complete. I will always be grateful
to her for what she has taught me.” Laura later taught the
craft of decoupage to her friend in Milan, Nicoletta. They
paint only objects that can be used (pots, jars, watering
cans, hooks, vases, candle holders) and small furniture
items. So, if a piece of furniture is in bad condition,
they bring it back to life in rapid fashion. They do all
this for very little. As a result, a friend of theirs has
given them the nickname: The Nimble Fairies.
