ArteMusicaGusto - Un Vero Successo

“Freccianera” - Mario Di Fabrizio di peppaune

Volevo per prima cosa complimentarmi con gli organizzatori dell'evento artemusica&gusto a partire dal presidente della Proloco di Torriccella Antonio Di Fabrizio, fino ad arrivare all'ultimo ragazzino impegnato nell'organizzazione, siete stati dei grandi e finalmente grazie a Voi Torricella ritorna a splendere con una luce nuova.

Nella serata di venerdì si avvertiva nell'aria la tensione e
l'emozione di un evento incognito e nuovo, gli organizzatori si
muovevano freneticamente lungo il bellissimo percorso per cercare di risolvere gli imprevisti che si potevano presentare, intanto la gente iniziava a riempire le vie illuminate con fiaccole e torce e si fermavano lungo il percorso per degustare gli ottimi vini distribuiti nelle cantine e il cibo preparato dagli agriturismo e dalla Proloco; le pizze fritte sono andate a ruba, così come gli arrosticini, le salsicce, l'agnello, gli gnocchi di patate, le sagne e fagioli, i
formaggi ecc.

La sera del sabato si prevedeva un afflusso massiccio di persone ma la realtà è stata molto ma molto più piacevole di ogni più rosea
previsione, Torriccella Peligna è riuscita ad accogliere tantissima
gente e si è presentata nel migliore dei modi agli occhi di quelle
persone che erano venute per la prima volta nel nostro paese; la luna piena e il cielo stellato hanno accompagnato i canti, le musiche e i balli fino all'alba, ed era meraviglioso guardarsi attorno e scorgere in lontananza le luci dei paesi e le sagome delle montagne, sembrava di riuscire a dominare il mondo e questa sensazione l'ho sentita esprime da tanta gente che passeggiava che non pensavano mai di trovare un luogo ed un paese così bello e accogliente.

L'unica nota stonata di questa manifestazione è stata l'assenza di
alcuni nostri compaesani, a loro posso solo dire che hanno perso un momento bellissimo e irripetibile per il nostro paese, mi auguro che il successo di questa manifestazione possa aprire il cuore e la mente di tutti, facciamo si che le potenzialità del nostro paese possano venire fuori e diamo una mano a questi uomini, donne e bambini che hanno saputo, con il loro impegno e con tanta fantasia, costruire un immagine nuova di Torricella Peligna.

ArtMusicFlavour - A Great Success

First of all, I want to congratulate the organisers of this event, ArtMusicFlavour, starting with the President of Proloco in Torricella, Antonio Di Fabrizio, down to all the youngsters who were involved in organising it. You were wonderful and, thanks to you, Torricella finally returns to shine in splendour with a new light.

On Friday evening, there was a noticeable air of tension and emotion about a new and unknown event. The organisers rushed frantically along the beautiful route trying to resolve any unforeseen difficulties that might have arisen, whilst the crowds began to fill the roads, aglow with illuminations and torches. They stopped every now and then along the route to taste the excellent wines distributed in the cellars and the foods prepared by the agritourism firms and by Proloco; fried pizzas were devoured almost as soon as they were made, as were the roasts, the sausages, the lamb, the potato gnocchi, the pasta and beans, the cheeses, etc.

On Saturday evening, they expected a massive influx of people, but the reality was even greater than any possible prediction, Torricella Peligna managed to welcome ever so many people and it looked its very best to the eyes of those who had come to our village for the first time. The full moon and the starry sky accompanied the songs, the music and the dancing until dawn. It was marvellous to look around and see the lights of other villages and the outlines of the mountains in the distance, it seemed as if they one dominated the whole world and I heard many people express this feeling as they strolled along, that they never thought they would find such a beautiful and welcoming village.

The only off-key note of the whole event was the absence of some of our co-villagers, to whom I can only say that they have missed an extremely beautiful, unrepeatable moment for our village. I hope that the success of this event might open the hearts and minds of everyone, let us make it possible for the potentialities of our village to shine out and let us give a helping hand to those men, women and children who knew how, with their commitment and so much imagination, to build a new image for Torricella Peligna.
