PRO LOCO di TORRICELLA

Sono Antonio Di Fabrizio, neo presidente della PRO LOCO di TORRICELLA,
dal primo giorno di questa nuova avventura ho avuto il desiderio di comunicare con i TORRICELLANI nel MONDO, purtroppo l'intensita' del
lavoro che a noi tutti ha coinvolto, ha fatto si che un mese e' passato in un lampo.

Ci siamo ritrovati tra persone motivate e che rappresentano tutte le
generazioni, e quindi abbiamo messo in cantiere tanti progetti a breve e lungo termine, alcuni molto ambiziosi che se realizzati potranno dare una vera svolta al nostro territorio, sia per quanto riguarda la convivenza sociale, che attualmente e'molto deteriorata, sia per lo sviluppo economico del paese intero che anch'esso e'concentrato nel lavoro delle industrie della Val Di Sangro.

Il direttivo di questa Associazione ha espresso la convinzione che l'unica forma di sviluppo di TORRICELLA e' la PROMOZIONE ECO-TURISTICO-CULTURALE e quindi questa associazione sfruttera' tutte le forme possibili per far si che molti giovani che oggi scappano, possano avere la possibilita' di lavorare con gioia nel nostro paese, ed anche per lasciare ai nostri figli un territorio VERDE, SANO E RICCO (ricchezza non solo economica ma anche culturale).

Se lo desiderate vi terremo informati sia per gli eventi che realizzeremo e sia per come viene vissuta la discussione all'interno dell'associazione, mandado i verbali delle riunioni che faremo. Fino ad ora ne abbiamo fatte quattro, tutte con grande partecipazione non solo dei membri del direttivo ma anche di molti soci, perche' ho fortemente voluto che le riunioni fossero aperte a tutti, all'insegna della massima trasparenza.

Il 5 aprile ci siamo presentati alla popolazione attraverso la FESTA DEL TESSERAMENTO; e' andata molto bene, e attualmente gli iscritti sono 170, sicuramente destinati a crescere, confidando anche in molti che torneranno a TORRICELLA nella prossima estate.

Voglio salutare e ringraziare ANTONIO PICCOLI per l'ntervento nel forum dove ci ha fatto constatare l'attenzione che mostra verso TORRICELLA, e quindi lo invitiamo a tornare piu' spesso.

Pro loco of TORRICELLA

I am Antonio Di Fabrizio, new President of Torricella’s Pro loco. From the first day of this new adventure I have wanted to communicate with the Torricellans in the World, but unfortunately the intensity of work with which it has involved us all, has meant that a month has passed in a flash.

We find ourselves to be well-motivated people with representatives of all generations. We have made a start on many projects both short term and long term, some very ambitious which, if they come to fruition, could be a true turning point for our territory, both with regards to living together socially, which at the moment has greatly deteriorated, and also with respect to the economic development of the entire village, which concentrates chiefly on work for the industries of the Val Di Sangro.

The directive for this Association expresses our conviction that the only form of development for Torricella is Eco-Tourism and Cultural Promotion. Therefore, this Association will utilise every possible means in order to ensure that many young people do not fly away, but might have the chance to work joyfully here in our village. In addition, we hope to leave to our children a territory that is Green, Healthy and Rich (rich not just economically but also culturally).

If you wish we could keep you informed both of events that we shall carry out and of how discussions take place within the Association, sending you reports of the meetings we shall hold. Up until now, we have held four, all with large attendance not only of Committee members but also of many members, because I strongly desired that our meetings should be open to all, under the banner of maximum transparency.

On 5^th April, we presented ourselves to the population at the Festa Del Tesseramento (Enrolment Campaign); it went very well indeed and currently there are 170 members, which number certainly will grow, we are confidant there will be many who return to Torricella next summer.

I wish to send greetings and to thank Antonio PICCOLI for his intervention in the forum, where he has let everyone know of his attention towards Torricella and so we invite him to return more often.

11^th May	- "Let’s clean the world", together with LEGAMBIENTE (Italian Environmental Association) and the Town Hall Administration; we shall clean the Coste neighbourhood and plant flowers
8^th June	Nature walk “air, earth, water”
22^nd June	Competitive and non-competitive track event “Let’s run with Alberico Di Cecco”
18^th, 19^th, 20^th July	“Art, Music & Taste” divine pathways, Coste neighbourhood
August (dates to be announced)	2^nd Nature walk Creation of routes for MTB (Mountain Bike) and for Orienteering
